Forklift Operator Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading and unloading quartz slabs, ensuring accurate material handling, and maintaining the overall orderliness of the warehouse. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexible, negotiable compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate counterbalance electric forklifts to safely unload slabs from containers and load trucks for customer orders.
- Ensure accurate allocation, sorting, and counting of slabs and samples in the warehouse.
- Prepare products and samples for shipping, including labeling, packaging, and staging slabs for pickup.
- Assist Sales Representatives with loading, unloading, and replacing samples when required.
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures for customers visiting the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator license.
- Experience in warehouse operations and forklift handling preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Driver small Flatbed if need
