We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Ceramist to join our growing dental laboratory in Stoney Creek. We are a full-service, fast-paced dental laboratory committed to producing high-quality dental restorations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in fabricating ceramic restorations, including crowns, veneers, bridges and implant restorations, with a strong focus on aesthetics, function, and precision.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read, understand, and review prescriptions received from dentists
- Fabricate and complete high-quality ceramic restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant restorations
- Handle complex and anterior cases with a high level of aesthetics and accuracy
- Layer, contour, stain, and glaze restorations
- Ensure the quality, fit, and accuracy of finished restorations
- Maintain high standards of case quality while meeting production deadlines
- Communicate effectively with team members to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have previous experience as a Dental Ceramist in a dental laboratory
- Strong knowledge of ceramic layering, contouring, staining, glazing, and finishing techniques
- Have experience with implant restorations and cosmetic cases
- Experience with full arch implant cases is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workload effectively
