Set on a 6,800-yard, par 72 A.V. Macan–designed championship golf course—one of BC's premier venues—our operations involve year-round care of tree-lined fairways, signature undulating greens, and well-positioned bunkers. Our Greens team, made up of skilled irrigation technicians, groundskeepers, gardeners, horticulturists, and assistant and head superintendents, works in all conditions to maintain the high standards and golfing experience our members love.
About this Opportunity
The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is looking for Entry Level Seasonal and Hourly Full-time Greenkeepers to join our Golf Course and Turf team. The candidate would report to the Assistant and Head Superintendents. The individual will work as a cohesive crew with the Golf Course and Turf team to complete certain time-bound projects. The duration of the season will be from August-mid to November but with a potential to return the next year starting March 2027. We are looking to hire someone with a start date as soon as possible. The projects are of landscaping nature and on the RCC golf course.
Who You Are
We need an individual who is at an entry level, with no necessary experience, but is a committed hard worker. Previous working knowledge of landscaping skills or jobs of a similar nature is an asset.
Responsibilities:

Perform daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, trimming, shoveling, raking, watering, changing pins, and cleaning pathways.

Assist with the setup, upkeep, and presentation of course features such as tee markers, flags, and bunkers.

Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.

Complete physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., walking 5–8 kilometers daily, and safely operating walking/handheld equipment.
- Work in varying weather conditions to support year-round course maintenance.

Carry out general labour duties and maintain clean, organized work and storage areas.

Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and operational standards.

Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Maintain a positive, team-first attitude and willingness to take on diverse tasks.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Meet operational scheduling requirements, including early morning shifts (as early as 5:00/ 6:00 a.m.), weekends, and holidays.

Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or farming is considered an asset but is not required.

Ability to learn new tasks and skills efficiently.
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to help with various tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to form effective relationships with members of the team.
Must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Salary: $20-$21 per hour

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week.

Job Environment: On-site only, outdoors.

Ability to commute: Richmond, BC - reliably commute to Number 4 road and Steveston Hwy Richmond BC. No public transportation is available to the shop. Personal cars will have parking available.

Work permit/visa/ ability to work in Canada is mandatory
