Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with creativity and precision, utilizing cake decorating techniques.
- Prepare a variety of food items, including baked goods, desserts, and other menu offerings.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Package baked goods and food items for retail or delivery purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs professionally.
- Support team members in daily kitchen operations and special event preparations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills.
- Skills in cake decorating, baking, and food presentation are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper handling techniques is essential.
- Experience in food industry environments, including kitchen experience, cooking, and food preparation, will be advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
