Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst, Trading Systems & Data Analytics to join their team. As a Senior Analyst, Trading Systems & Data Analytics, you will be part of the Global Asset Management department supporting trading and data analysis functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid
What's the Job?
- Manage and enhance trading and order management systems to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and user experience
- Serve as a central point of contact for system-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and supporting front, middle, and back office users across asset classes
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into system improvements, workflows, and data requirements
- Perform data extraction, validation, and analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of trading and operational data
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical outputs to support decision-making and operational monitoring
What's Needed?
- 3-5+ years of experience in data analytics, financial systems, or business analysis
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and Excel for data extraction, cleansing, and transformation (ETL)
- Proven ability to build dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of data validation, quality control, and governance practices
- Experience working with financial data, portfolios, or trading environments
