We are hiring full-time ECEIIs, ECE IIIs or Montessori Teachers!
The Prep Montessori Daycare, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is looking for Full-Time Early Childhood Educators (ECE II) or Montessori Teachers to start an exciting new career in our Infant, Early Preschool (toddler) and Preschool Programs.
You will be a part of a dynamic group of educators comprising of Early Childhood Educators (ECE IIs & ECE IIIs), Experienced Montessori Teachers, and Trained Child Care Assistants.
Your job description is to:
- Work in collaboration with your team to deliver well planned lessons for your students
- Provide duties for your trained teaching assistants and supervise their work
- Provide a warm, caring and safe environment for all the children in your care
- Follow all the policies and procedures of The Prep
- Communicate with parents & colleagues in person, over the phone, and via an app
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Complete daily cleaning duties as assigned
You will take direction from and report to:
- The Prep's Supervisors, and Director.
You must possess the following (BEFORE APPLYING):
- An ECE II or ECE III designation in Manitoba, or a CCA designation in Manitoba with a MACTE or AMI Montessori diploma.
- A Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
- A Clean Criminal Record Check
- A Clean Child Abuse Registry Check

The starting wage for this position is: $20 an hour.
Applicants with experience working in a Montessori Childcare Centre will be given preference.
We are accepting out of province applicants and will write employment letters for Permanent Resident (PR) applications as required.
You must currently live in Canada to apply for this position.

If you are not an ELCC certified CCA (with a Montessori Diploma), or an ECE II or ECE III in Manitoba, you will not be considered for this position.
