Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a qualified Sous Chef or Line Cook. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional food service and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and consistency
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and efficient service delivery
- Coordinate food service activities, including serving guests and managing table assignments
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for guests
Experience
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Knowledge of restaurant management practices, including customer service excellence and operational efficiency
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management
- Previous experience in hospitality roles involving serving guests is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
