Java Functional Developer
Key Requirements
- Experience in designing and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud and containerized platforms such as AWS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional code, working closely with business analysts and quantitative teams
- Strong experience in implementing business logic for financial workflows such as FIX protocols for trading and high-throughput payment processing
- Experience working on system performance including multi-threading, real-time transaction processing, and latency optimization in distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with integration and data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and IBM MQ
- Experience working in Agile environments with modern development practices including TDD (Test-Driven Development)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines using Maven and Jenkins
- Exposure to AI-augmented coding assistants for development productivity
Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
