Role Summary
We are looking for a versatile developer who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys working across the full stack. In this contract role, you’ll help bring innovative HR technology ideas to life by translating business needs into well-crafted software. You’ll be part of a collaborative remote team, contributing to features that impact compliance, talent management, and analytics for organizations across Canada.
This opportunity is designed as a stepping stone to a full-time position. You will have the chance to prove your impact quickly, while also influencing the long-term direction of our product and engineering practices.
Location & Work Authorization

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver features across front-end and back-end, translating business requirements into robust, scalable software
- Collaborate with PM, Design, and QA to ship high-quality code on schedule
- Maintain code quality (testing, reviews, CI/CD); document and communicate progress
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience with the Microsoft technology stack
- Stack: ASP.NET 8.0+(or later), SQL Server, JavaScript, Razor Pages
- Full-stack comfort: Comfortable with Front-end + Back-end
- Communication: Fluent English (written & verbal). Ability to translate non-technical requests to technical solutions
- Security: Ability to pass Background Verification Screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, cloud deployments, etc.)
- Virtual Machines (Experience provisioning & managing VMs in Azure/OnPrem)
- CI/CD (Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines, or similar tools)
- Python (Ability to write scripts or microservices in Python)
- French Fluency is an asset
Tools & Environment
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2026 (Familiarity with the latest Microsoft IDE)
- ASP.NET Core 8.0+ (Build, test, and deploy modern web applications & APIs)
- Microsoft SQL Server (Schema design, write complex queries, and performance tuning)
- JavaScript & Razor Pages (Create dynamic, responsive UI within ASP.NET)
- Requirements translation with stakeholders (Capture needs, propose technical solutions)
