Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential appliances. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working with a variety of household appliances. This position involves traveling to customer locations, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, and microwaves.
- Perform appliance installations and replacements.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
- Explain repair options and recommendations to customers.
- Order and install replacement parts as needed.
- Test appliances after repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and work orders.
- Follow safety procedures and industry standards.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate with office staff regarding job status, parts requirements, and scheduling.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience in appliance repair and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move appliances when required.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.

Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Location: Edmonton & Surrounding Areas (including Sherwood Park)
Pay: $20.00-$55.00 per hour
