Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and recommend solutions
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for team members
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
Pay: $23.76-$35.00 per hour
