Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experiences and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest bookings and seating arrangements
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience or food industry background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours while maintaining a lively pace
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing
- Serving or host/hostess experience is a plus; experience in nightclub environments can be beneficial
