247 Fulfillment is hiring a full-time Outbound Shipping Sorter / Package Sortation Associate to join our warehouse team.
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on sorting completed ecommerce packages before they leave the building. You will be responsible for taking carts of packed orders to the shipping dock, scanning each package one by one, and placing every package into the correct carrier bin, dock lane, skid, or shipping area.
This role requires strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and the ability to stay focused while doing repetitive scanning and sorting work for long periods of time.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in a warehouse, courier, parcel, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or package sortation environment.
Responsibilities
- Move completed order carts to the shipping dock
- Scan packages one by one using warehouse scanning equipment
- Sort packages into the correct carrier bins, dock lanes, skids, or staging areas
- Separate packages by carrier, service type, shipping method, or route
- Identify and report packages with missing labels, damaged labels, incorrect labels, or scan errors
- Keep the shipping dock clean, organized, and moving efficiently
- Help ensure packages are ready before carrier pickup times
- Communicate with warehouse leads about delays, mis-sorts, damaged cartons, or problem packages
- Assist with general warehouse and shipping duties as needed
- Work accurately and consistently in a fast-paced fulfillment environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, courier, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or package sorting experience preferred
- Must be comfortable scanning and sorting packages for hours at a time
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push carts, and move packages throughout the shift
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving boxes regularly
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs when required
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
- Must be available for an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Must be able to commute to Vaughan now and Mississauga after our warehouse move
Schedule
We are hiring two part-time Package Sorters / Shipping Dock Associates.
Saturday availability is required.
Required shift:
- Saturday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Additional weekday shifts may include:
- Monday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Monday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, depending on volume
Monday availability is strongly preferred because Monday is our heaviest shipping day.
This role is designed for candidates who can help us keep the shipping dock moving during high-volume periods. Our warehouse fulfills approximately 2,400 orders per day on average, so candidates must be comfortable scanning, sorting, moving carts, and organizing packages for several hours at a time.

This role is extremely important because it is the final checkpoint before packages leave our warehouse. The right person will understand that one wrong scan or one package placed in the wrong bin can create delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational problems.
