Foresight Safety Solutions is seeking experienced Construction Health and Safety Trainers for a remote mine construction project in Nunavut.
This position follows a two-week-on / two-week-off rotation. Project travel, accommodations, and meals while on site are provided.
The successful candidate will deliver formal classroom and practical safety training to construction personnel. This is a training-focused role, not a field safety advisor position. Candidates must hold the appropriate trainer, instructor, evaluator, or fit testing qualifications for the programs they are assigned to deliver.
Training may include:
- Project orientation
- Confined space entry
- Lockout/tagout / hazardous energy control
- Aerial work platforms / elevated work platforms
- Working at heights / fall protection
- WHMIS
- Respiratory protection and fit testing
- Equipment-specific safety training
The trainer will be responsible for delivering approved course content, assessing worker understanding and competency, maintaining accurate training records, and supporting a consistent project training standard.
The ideal candidate is experienced, professional, organized, dependable, and team-oriented. They must be comfortable working in a remote camp environment and committed to supporting the project team in building a strong, practical, and credible safety culture.
Applicants should submit a resume outlining relevant training experience, applicable instructor qualifications, fit testing credentials, and the specific courses they are authorized to deliver.
