We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a leading Canadian organization specializing in the import and distribution of fresh perishable goods.
This role supports senior leadership (President and CFO) and focuses on data analysis, reporting, and decision support across supply chain operations, logistics, and freight activities.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in business analysis and supply chain environments, with the ability to turn data into clear insights that support day-to-day and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain operations including import, transportation, distribution, and inventory
- Develop and maintain performance reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis
- Conduct freight and transportation cost analysis and variance reporting
- Support forecasting, purchasing, and inventory planning activities
- Analyze international shipping costs and logistics processes (Incoterms knowledge is an asset)
- Support cost reconciliation and validation of logistics-related financial data
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost control, and supplier performance
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or Operations Analyst
- Strong experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong understanding of freight, shipping, and inventory flow
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations

- Experience with perishable goods or fast-moving inventory

Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
