Job Summary
Ramada by Wyndham 100 Mile House is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in delivering excellent service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Make, modify, and confirm reservations
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Process payments and verify credit card authorizations
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest accounts
- Post charges to guest rooms and balance accounts
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor lobby activity and maintain a secure environment
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Follow hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (experience with hotel PMS systems is an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
