Position Overview: Armour Transportation is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team for night shifts. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of equipment and freight while maintaining clear communication with drivers and internal teams.
Location: Danny Drive, NL
Schedule: Rotation | 6pm - 6am
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with departments, terminals, and customers to eliminate barriers in the movement of equipment and freight.

Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork and information to complete their tasks successfully.

Support internal teams by addressing special circumstances and ensuring planning and revenue considerations are accounted for.

Additional terminal specific duties as required.

Key Skills:

Familiarity with the Truck Mate system is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create reports using Word and Excel.

Strong typing and computer skills.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.

High volume of communication with customers and drivers via email, satellite, and phone.
