Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or related food industry roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
