Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical problems promptly
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving heavy trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading cargo
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling heavy loads
- Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
