Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across the city and help keep our city bus shelters clean. The ideal candidate will ensure that spaces are safe, sanitary, and welcoming for all city bus patrons. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and healthy environment through attention to detail and consistent effort.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, window cleaning, snow removal and trash removal in designated areas
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, benches and fixtures
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall shelter upkeep
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to chemical use and equipment operation
- Must have a valid Alberta license and clean drivers abstarct
- Be confident in driving a F350 pick up truck
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
