Fitter/Welder – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Seebe Inc. Fabrication Shop near Okotoks, Alberta
We are a growing fabrication shop located near Okotoks and are seeking experienced Fitters and Welders to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in building a long-term career with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, safety, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
- Lay out, position, align, and fit parts and structural steel components
- Perform fitting and fabrication work to project requirements
- Operate shop equipment including cutting torches, press brakes, laser table, band saws, and portable grinders
- Verify dimensions and fit-up accuracy throughout the fabrication process
- Identify and resolve fabrication issues as they arise
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Industrial fabrication experience preferred
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to provide direction and support to coworkers when required
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Clean and valid Class 5 driver's license
Assets
- Valid CWB welding certification
- Additional valid safety tickets and certifications
