High in Demand Jobs is looking for a Milkman — a legendary, route-owning, bottle-carrying, early-rising hero — to deliver fresh dairy products to grateful families across Greater Vancouver. This is a role as old as time, and somehow, it's still incredibly important. Cows haven't stopped producing. Vancouver families haven't stopped needing milk. And someone has to bridge that gap.
That someone could be you.
What You'll Do (Besides Save Breakfast)
Wake up at an hour that most Vancouverites are still dreaming about and load up a truck full of dairy
Drive your assigned route through Greater Vancouver like a professional — not like you're merging onto the Ironworkers at rush hour
Drop off milk, pick up empties, and accept the silent gratitude of families who don't even know your name but absolutely depend on you
Collect payments and track orders with the precision of someone who definitely did not go back to sleep between stops
Keep everything cold — the milk, not your personality. Your personality should be warm.
Report any issues, refill the truck, and do it all again tomorrow
Schedule
Monday to Saturday, rotating Sundays
Shifts: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM
You will be finished before most Vancouverites have found parking downtown. You will have already lived an entire day. You will feel superior. That is completely valid.
What We're Looking For
Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract (a fender bender on a milk truck in Vancouver traffic is not the legacy you want)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs — bottles are heavier than they look, and the cows aren't coming to you
Someone who shows up on time, every time, without needing three reminder texts
A friendly face — customers will see you more consistently than they see some family members
Basic math skills — enough to count bottles and make change, not enough to overthink it
Previous delivery or customer service experience is a bonus, but a genuine love of dairy works too
Food handling certification, or a willingness to get one (we'll help, don't panic)
