Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, construction, and renovation projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across various facilities. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work complies with safety standards and technical specifications, contributing to the smooth operation of our projects.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems.
- Perform renovation and upgrade projects on existing electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure all work adheres to local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or remodeling projects to coordinate electrical installations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Assist with the installation of low voltage systems, control panels, and other electrical components.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial applications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with construction environments, renovation projects, and electrical code compliance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred. Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
