SUMMARY
The Leadhand is responsible for relaying clear work directions to their assigned crew as communicated by the Foreman.
JOB DUTIES
- Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
- Ensure all work being performed by the crew complies with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Provide the crew direction as communicated by the Foreman
- Facilitate the creation of Safe Work Permits prior to the commencement of a task
- Promote a work environment in compliance with site quality standards and procedures
- Identify and communicate requirements for specific materials/tools
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of timesheets
- May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- CSTS-09 and/or CSO
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Organized and self-motivated
