Evening Cook – Rideau Ferry Country Home Retirement Residence
Location: 1333 Rideau Ferry Rd, Perth, ON K7H 3C7
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow all food safety and safe food handling practices
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and residence team
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (required)
- Ability to complete all required employment paperwork prior to starting work
- Reliable transportation and ability to consistently commute to the residence
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$19.50 per hour
