Our client is seeking a Lead Parts/Service Administrator to oversee Parts and Service operations, drive team performance, and support a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role is a key contributor to profitability and service excellence across parts, service, and warranty functions.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor parts and service staff
- Ensure consistent and accurate use of ERP systems
- Support team performance, accountability, and process adherence
- Lead training, development, and ongoing coaching initiatives
Customer Service & Sales
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Respond to parts inquiries and orders professionally and efficiently
- Support sales growth through proactive outreach and customer engagement
- Coach team on effective customer communication
Operations & Administration
- Coordinate parts availability to support service operations
- Maintain accurate inventory and service-related documentation
- Streamline processes for parts procurement and service support
Financial & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
- Support month-end processes and reporting requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and accounts receivable
- Follow up on outstanding customer accounts
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Journeyman Parts certification (preferred)
- 2–3 years’ experience in parts/service administration or related role
- ERP system experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
