Job Summary
We are dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong , hands-on experience with pedestrian door repairs, and proficiency with various tools and schematics. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and assembly tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of doors and other door hardware. Not necessary background required on this field, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Conduct inspections on doors and repair as required
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions to diagnose issues and perform repairs
- Perform heavy lifting as required for parts and equipment handling
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical problems
- Assist in the assembly of components or systems according to specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
Qualifications
- G Class driver's license (Clean Record)
- Some experience with doors and hardware
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics necessary
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or technical training in automotive or mechanical fields are advantageous
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
