Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our freight logistics and warehouse distribution. As the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and freight providers, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations including managing freight, coordinating warehouse distribution, and planning transportation schedules.
- Communicate with freight providers, vendors, and customers to schedule, confirm, and track shipments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients through phone and email, providing timely and accurate information.
- Resolve booking issues, such as delays, cancellations, and discrepancies, in a quick and professional manner.
- Work closely with internal operations and logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules and routes.
- Keep internal teams informed of any changes to delivery timelines, shipment shortages, or delays.
- Coordinate shipment deliveries and pick-ups with transportation companies; tracking shipments to final delivery.
- Provide backup support for processing rejected shipments and returns, resolving issues with efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in coordinating procurement processes to ensure timely and efficient purchase of products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong business relationships with clients and carriers.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in supply chain or business operations is preferred
- Previous experience working in an administrative capacity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; previous experience using ERP is an asset.
- Must have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- A strong sense of urgency and excellent organizational abilities.

The salary range listed in this posting represents the expected compensation for this position based on market conditions and internal considerations. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role requirements.
