Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and dependable School Transportation Private Driver to safely transport students to and from home to school and vice versa. The ideal candidate will possess communication skills, a clean driving record, and a genuine interest in working with children. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of students while providing exceptional customer service. The driver must be punctual, attentive, and capable of handling various transportation needs in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger vehicles to transport students according to scheduled routes
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by following traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist students with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, providing support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical upkeep of your vehicle, reporting any issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with us directly regarding schedules or concerns
- Adhere to all local transportation regulations and company policies
- Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and courtesy at all times during transportation duties
Experience
- Experience working with children is highly preferred but is not necessary
- Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation services is advantageous
- Multilingual abilities such as bilingual in Spanish and English are a plus, enhancing communication with bilingual students
- Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with students, parents, and school staff
- Teaching or caregiving experience related to children can be an asset but also isn't necessary

Pay: $320.00-$850.00 per week
