Neegan Development is currently seeking a positive, outgoing, and team-oriented individual to join our team as an HSE Coordinator. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting a strong safety culture and helping the company achieve excellence in health, safety, and environmental performance while ensuring compliance with all applicable OH&S standards.

Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining current knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulations.

Identify opportunities to continuously improve the HSE program and reduce workplace incidents.

Assist management in developing and implementing practical and effective daily inspection programs.

Conduct monthly safety inspections to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of inspection programs.

Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Receive, review, and promptly follow up on all near misses and Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs).

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to management and employees while ensuring compliance with company and site-specific safety requirements.

Maintain current knowledge of OH&S legislation, industry best practices, and safety standards.

Review incident and accident reports to monitor company safety performance and identify trends.

Represent Neegan Development professionally while supporting the objectives of the Tuccaro Group of Companies.

Maintain a strong field presence by balancing administrative responsibilities with regular interaction and support for field personnel.
The ideal candidate will possess:

National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role.

Experience working within the heavy equipment or construction industry.

Knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and practices across various industrial sites.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to analyze safety statistics, identify trends and hazards, and develop effective corrective actions.
