Overview
Join Torafuku’s team as a Part-time Server and bring your passion for hospitality to life! Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued and eager to return. For this position we are looking for a server that complements our Brunch and Lunch time on the weekends.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Touch Bistro
- Make drinks from coffee to cocktails and serve food promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Help with the bar preparations to have all need covered and be ready to serve our guess
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food prep zones, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food preparation and food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service at all timesRequirements
- Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in the food industry
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
