Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to perform commercial carpentry work on an ongoing project in Swift Current. The role involves framing, door and hardware installation, backing, blocking, finishing work, blueprint reading, and general carpentry tasks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial framing and structural carpentry.
- Install doors, hardware, backing, and blocking.
- Complete finishing work and general carpentry tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Maintain quality standards and a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the site team to support project timelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial carpentry (framing, doors, hardware, finishing preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Strong focus on quality and safety.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS) are an asset.
