Overview
The All Terrain Vehicle Association of Manitoba (known as ATVMB) provides leadership and support to the ATV community in Manitoba. ATVMB was formed in 2009 at the request of the Provincial Government to provide a unified voice for this rapidly expanding group. ATVMB's mission is to provide ORV riders access to a trail system that is safe, sustainable and environmentally conscious resulting in an enhanced experience for all trail users. ATVMB is also working to provide trail connectivity resulting in an enhanced economic benefit to communities. ATVMB is led by a Board of 12 members from all over Manitoba and managed by one staff member, the Executive Director.
ATVMB is looking for someone to join the team. This would be a contract position with flexible hours ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week and a work-from-home opportunity.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- monitor and update the ATVMB website
- develop and create social media posts
- assist in managing Google Workspace and assist with technological issues
- support the efforts of the Board and committees as required
- attend Board meetings (virtually)
- provide regular reports to the Executive Director
- other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications & Skills:
- strong communication and organizational skills
- deep understanding of social media platforms
- excellent copywriting and editing skills
- knowledge of Google Workspace and technological experience
- knowledge of the ATV industry or willingness to learn
- experience working in the volunteer sector and working with Boards
- experience taking Minutes at Board and/or committee meetings
- capabilities for various administrative jobs
- class 5 driver's license and own vehicle
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
