We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing HR functions, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the human resources department, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with policies.
- Manage talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth.
- Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring a supportive work environment.
- Utilize HR software systems such as TruckRight for employee management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to support their development.
- Address employee concerns and mediate disputes to foster positive relationships within the workplace.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
Skills
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures specific to the trucking industry.
- Proficiency in HR software systems.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent employee relations skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
- Experience in talent acquisition processes including interviewing techniques.
