Kraken Robotics is currently recruiting for Production Assemblers to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.
Roles and Responsibilities

Assembly of Products: Assemble battery packs and battery management systems by following blueprints, work instructions, and assembly guides to ensure accurate and consistent production.

Component Handling: Handle and position small components, wires, and connectors with precision and care to prevent damage and ensure proper alignment.

Use of Tools & Equipment: Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and safely.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections of in-process and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Soldering & Wiring: Perform basic soldering and wire routing as required for assembly.

Documentation: Record assembly data, complete production checklists, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.

Inventory Management: Notify supervisors of low stock or the need for replenishment of components, ensuring production timelines are met.

Problem Solving: Identify issues with parts, materials, or processes and communicate with supervisors to resolve them promptly.

Equipment Maintenance: Conduct basic cleaning and maintenance of assembly tools and equipment to ensure functionality and longevity.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Control, Engineering, and Production Supervisors to address any production challenges and maintain workflow.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of experience in production assembly, electronics assembly, or manufacturing

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

Basic soldering experience is preferred but not required

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and maintain focus for extended periods
-
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ability to stand, bend, and work with small components for extended periods
-
Must be able to lift to 25 lbs. as needed
-
Proficiency in basic computer applications

Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed
