Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving standby generators and equipment sales growth across various environments. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct product demonstrations, site visits and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized stock areas and ensure products are properly labeled and stocked
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet sales targets and complete daily responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to track sales activities and follow up with potential clients
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in equipment sales, technology sales, or related fields preferred
- Proficiency in product demos and technical sales techniques
- Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling procedures
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, and cashiering processes
- Ability to perform basic upselling strategies effectively
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or via digital communication platforms
