We're seeking qualified individuals who have a passion for the early years education and development of young children. A successful Early Childhood Educator Assistant candidate will have a background in the early childhood field, and be able to incorporate fun and engaging activities for the children in our programs. Applicants will be required to obtain a criminal record clearance. We are a growing organization with opportunities for growth and advancement into management roles.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, such as games, songs, free play and language development.
- Build relationships with children, families and team members.
- Promote the physical, social and emotional health of children.
- Develop and implement activities such as arts and crafts and field trips for children.
- Serve as a role model for children.
- Guide and support children in developing self help skills.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or concerns with the family and team members.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health security and well being of the children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for the program.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
