Starsky Fine Foods is seeking a full-time Grocery Clerk, for its Mississauga West location. (3115 Dundas Street West)
This position is responsible for:
- Stocking shelves and maintaining the overall appearance of grocery food aisles.
- Assisting customers in finding desired products.
- Providing advice and recommendation on products to increase sales and maintain high level of customer service.
- Working in the cold at times to retrieve products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Background in a grocery retail setting a definite asset.
- Previous experience in stock department a definite asset.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills are required.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Good teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to remain attentive and focused in a busy environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The Stock Clerk position requires constant standing, bending and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity.
- Continuous lifting of up to 50 lbs. is required.
