Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role involves maintaining residential and commercial lawns, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. The Lawn Technician will be responsible for executing tasks related to irrigation, garden care, and general landscaping.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens effectively to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or flowers as needed.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing basic repairs.
- Assist in landscape design projects by building garden beds or other structures.
- Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying issues such as pests or diseases.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to dig and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

- Edmonton, AB T6E 5G9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Lawn Care Forman: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 with clean record (preferred)
