Responsibilities
- Client Communication & Scheduling: Answering multi-line phone systems, booking appointments, confirming visits, and managing email correspondence.
- Front Desk Management: Greeting clients and patients, checking them in/out, and maintaining a clean waiting area.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintaining, updating, and filing electronic or paper medical records.
- Financial Transactions: Processing payments, invoicing, and handling client accounts.
- Client Support & Education: Triage of phone calls to determine emergency situations, explaining charges, and providing basic education on products (e.g., food, flea medication).
- Record Management: Handling patient admission forms,, vaccination records, and laboratory reports.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensuring the client and pet visit is a positive experience and also following up with clients after each visit.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; veterinary clinic experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.
- Proficiency with computer systems and related software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Empathy: Ability to handle distressed, worried, or grieving clients
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
