Tool Crib Attendant
Weldco Heavy Industries (WHI) is a large steel fabrication and repair facility located in the Fort McKay Caribou Energy Park. Strategically positioned in the heart of Alberta’s Oil Sands, WHI can effectively meet the requirements for large steel repair, assembly and refurbishment in the industry.
We are looking for a Tool Crib Attendant. This role will be 7 days on/7 days off, 12- hour days.

What you do:

Organize materials and tools in the worksite.

Maintain cleanliness in the tool crib and shop.
-
Present missing /overdue tool reports to supervision.
-
Maintain equipment and tools.
-
Create requisitions for stock replenishment.

Ensure cycle counts are completed daily.

Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, the proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites.

Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred.

Ensure maintenance and small tools are maintained, and both visual and physical inspections completed.

Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting into the tool crib.

Keep proper/updated certifications on tools and MSDS sheets for consumables.

Act as a town runner.

Various shop maintenance duties will be required.

Various other duties as requested by shop supervision.
Your qualifications:
-
Valid Class 5 drivers license (clean abstract)

CSTS-09 and/or CSO
-
WHMIS
-
Computer experience
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment

Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others

Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
