Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Millwright to join our maintenance team. We are a growing industrial warehouse and logistics company specializing in heavy equipment storage, preservation, maintenance, crane operations, and project logistics. Our facilities support the mining, oil & gas, utility, construction, and industrial sectors throughout Western Canada.
Unlike a traditional manufacturing environment, our work focuses on maintaining customer equipment, preparing assets for storage and shipment, warehouse infrastructure, and supporting specialized projects.
As our Journeyman Millwright, you will play a key role in maintaining customer equipment and supporting warehouse operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on customer assets and warehouse equipment
- Conduct mechanical inspections on motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, fans, compressors and rotating equipment
- Install, align and dismantle industrial equipment
- Perform precision shaft alignments using dial indicators or laser alignment equipment
- Change bearings, seals, couplings and mechanical components
- Assist with electric motor removal, installation and inspections
- Support preservation and long-term storage programs for industrial equipment
- Assist with equipment receiving, inspections and documentation
- Complete work orders and inspection reports
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment (training provided if required)
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics and project teams
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and OH&S requirements
