Job Summary
Midland-Ellesmere Radiology & Ultrasound and Lawrence and Midland Radiology Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our busy outpatient imaging clinic. The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a professional and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations.
- Verify patient information and explain procedures.
- Acquire diagnostic images according to clinic protocols.
- Process and archive studies using RIS/PACS.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, quality assurance, and safety standards.
- Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Requirements
- Current CMRITO registration (required).
- Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS credentials preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous clinical experience is an asset.
