Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Expo/Food Runner/Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth service flow, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Prior experience with restaurant operations, and food handling is preferred. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and plating to meet presentation standards
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness in dining areas
- Refill beverages, deliver orders to tables, and assist guests with menu selections
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Support kitchen staff with meal preparation during busy periods when needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to sanitation protocols
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality settings preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Guest service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor
- Kitchen experience or hotel/guest services background is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
