What Will You Be Doing?
Reporting to the Director of Operations - Atlantic, the Terminal Manager is responsible for all operational areas while ensuring efficiencies and on-time service goals are met. The key responsibility would be to lead and guide consultative planning and the management of performance to implement and meet the objectives & strategies of the terminal while ensuring employee engagement.
- Responsible for all operational areas relating to Transport while ensuring efficiencies and meeting on-time service goals
- Provide leadership to terminal staff
- Deliver Superior Quality Service to all customers and stakeholders
- Ensure Equity and Occupational Health and Safety are at the forefront\
- Support staff through change while continuing to increase employee engagement
- Ensuring compliance with managing staff and company policies and regulations
- Review and control costs
- Ensure high productivity standards are met
- Support and promote continuous improvement

What we are looking for
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management
- You have 10 years of management experience with increasing responsibilities in operations
- You have Transportation Industry experience with extensive knowledge in all areas of an LTL and TL operations
- You have energy, enthusiasm, and a professional demeanor
- You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- You have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office.
