KAN Recruitment is currently hiring a Senior Field Service Technician for a growing technical service team based in Victoria. This role is ideal for a customer-focused and technically skilled professional with experience servicing printers, multifunction devices, copiers, scanners, and office technology equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing office equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. This position also involves handling advanced technical escalations, mentoring junior technicians, and supporting continuous service improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair printers, copiers, multifunction devices, and production print equipment
- Diagnose hardware, software, networking, print driver, and connectivity issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, firmware updates, and equipment configurations
- Manage assigned service calls efficiently while maintaining strong customer communication
- Complete service documentation, parts tracking, and administrative reporting accurately
- Support advanced troubleshooting and technical escalations
- Assist and mentor junior technicians when required
- Collaborate with internal teams including Dispatch, Customer Care, Sales, and Logistics
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience servicing office equipment, copiers, printers, or related technology is required
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Working knowledge of networking, scanning, print drivers, device setup, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage service territories effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with production print equipment or advanced workflow solutions is considered an asset

Working Environment
This position primarily involves travelling to customer locations throughout the Victoria area. Occasional overtime or after-hours support may be required based on customer and operational needs.
