Registered Physiotherapist — Part-Time
Cohesion is a clinician-led physiotherapy clinic with locations in Markham and Stouffville. We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team in a part-time role with opportunity to grow.
Care at Cohesion is guided by a structured clinical approach focused on assessment, reassessment, functional goals, active treatment, patient education, clear documentation, and manual therapy when clinically indicated.
This role is well suited for a physiotherapist who is professional, coachable, organized, clinically thoughtful, and interested in developing within a team-based physiotherapy model.
Location
Markham, with potential opportunities involving Stouffville depending on clinic needs, provider fit, and patient demand.
Position Type
Part-time, with opportunity to grow.
Preferred Availability
Minimum 2 consistent days per week preferred.
Compensation
Percentage-based compensation. The proposed structure for this role is 50% of billings. Additional details will be reviewed during the interview process.
Registration Requirement
Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and must hold an Independent Practice Certificate.
Please note that this role is not currently open to Physiotherapy Residents, Provisional Practice applicants, or applicants who are still completing Ontario registration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete physiotherapy assessments and follow-up treatments
- Use reassessment findings and functional goals to guide care
- Provide education, exercise progression, active rehabilitation, and manual therapy when clinically indicated
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient presentation, goals, and response to care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients, administrative staff, and other care providers
- Support patients in progressing toward independence and self-management
- Participate in case discussion, mentorship, or clinical review where appropriate
Qualifications
- Independent Practice License with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
- Comfortable with exercise prescription and active rehabilitation
- Interest in integrating manual therapy appropriately within an active, reassessment-based care plan
- Additional language ability is an asset
- Interest in long-term professional growth is preferred
