About the Role
Gellibrand Drycleaning is looking for a reliable, hands-on Supervisor / Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dry cleaning facility. This is a leadership position for someone who takes initiative, leads by example, communicates effectively with ownership, and is committed to improving efficiency, quality, and customer service.

Location Requirement
Applicants must live on Edmonton's west side or within close proximity to our headquarters to ensure reliable transportation and availability.

Education
Required:
- Secondary (high) school diploma
Preferred (not required):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Management, or a related field
Equivalent management experience will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience in a dry cleaner, laundry service, production, manufacturing, retail, or similar environment is an asset
- Experience with garment care, pressing, stain removal, or dry cleaning equipment is preferred but not required
Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule staff while maintaining a productive work environment
- Oversee daily production, workflow, and quality control
- Train employees on company procedures and safety policies
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate deliveries and communication between departments
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to ownership
- Identify and resolve operational, staffing, or customer service issues
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs
- Assist with production during busy periods, including washing, dry cleaning, pressing, sorting, and packaging garments
- Maintain excellent customer service and ensure company standards are consistently met
