We’re looking for a digital consultant with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in digital communications, social media and advertising, preferably within an agency environment, to join our growing Data, Digital and Design team.
The consultant will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of digital programs, SEO/SEM optimization, social media content and reporting on analytics across multiple platforms and must stay on top of digital trends.
Responsibilities & Duties

Participate consistently in client engagements, contributing to project planning, research, and delivery

Develop initial drafts of work plans, including reports, communication materials, creative designs, and other project documentation aligned with client needs

Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to support informed client recommendations

Liaise with clients in coordination with the client lead, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the engagement

Ensure timely, accurate, and professional execution of project deliverables

Assist with planning and staffing project activities to meet scope, budget, and client objectives

Proactively share ideas and strategic input with internal team members to address client challenges

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and support the development of tailored solutions and recommendations

Manage the preparation and formatting of high-quality deliverables such as presentation decks, and final reports or design concepts
Areas of Focus

Work with clients to build digital, marketing, and brand strategies that drive business objectives. Areas of specialty include digital campaigns, email marketing, database development, content creation and design, branding, community management, and social media strategy

Support audience targeting strategies across paid and owned channels, providing recommendations for campaign optimization

Contribute to content planning, creative ideation, and execution across digital channels, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and timelines

Support SEO strategy execution, including keyword research, optimization, auditing, and performance alignment with broader marketing objectives
Influence & Impact

Typically serves as a developing consultant with growing exposure to client-facing work and ownership of defined workstreams

Provides moderately complex analytical, creative, and operational support to projects

Solves routine problems using established tools, methods, and best practices

Adds value to internal and client-facing discussions by contributing relevant insights and perspectives
Education & Experience
-
Relevant educational background, preferably in digital media, public relations, advertising, or communications

Minimum of 3–6 years of digital marketing experience; agency experience preferred

Familiarity with consulting processes and client service standard
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Demonstrates proficiency with research tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4), and social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Talkwalker)

Understanding of paid media platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, X), programmatic advertising, and traditional media buying

Experience with tag management tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and managing digital campaign tracking

Ability to analyze performance data across channels (social media, web, email, podcasts, newsletters) and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Experience managing and maintaining content libraries, including social assets, graphics, and video, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

Strong project and client management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables, timelines, and priorities simultaneously

Produces clear, professional written communication, including reports, presentations, and digital content

Strong writing and editing skills for social media and web content

Detail oriented, highly organized, and accountable with excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to budgets and timelines

Demonstrates creativity, curiosity, and awareness of digital trends to support innovative campaign development

Works effectively within teams and builds strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

Adapts quickly to new tools, technologies, and processes in a fast-paced environment

This position is full-time permanent role, and is open to candidates located in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.
