About the Role
We are an established Construction Division and looking for a solution-driven, people-oriented team member to help us deliver high-quality residential and light commercial rebuilds. You’ll work closely with a Lead Carpenter and Division Manager, grow your skill set, and play a real part in shaping a new core team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Lead Carpenter and Division Manager on active job sites.
- Support general carpentry tasks: framing, drywall, taping/mudding, painting, and finishing.
- Keep sites organized and clean; stage materials and tools for the crew.
- Communicate clearly with clients and teammates to keep projects efficient.
- Help track materials, tools, and labour needs across ongoing jobs.
- Contribute to keeping the project schedule on track.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years in a general labour/construction role; carpentry experience is an asset.
- Working knowledge of framing, drywall, taping/mudding, and painting.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
- One relevant reference provided with your application.
Nice to have: ~3 years carpentry experience (preferred but not required).
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday (occasional flexibility based on project needs).
- Work is in person at sites around Ottawa (home base Orléans).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
